A: Simply enter your contact information to create a seller account. Then use our simple platform to manually choose the products you’d like to sell, or use the bulk uploader to create a store using your inventory spreadsheet. If you have any trouble at all contact us and we’ll create your store for you. You’ll be selling in no time!

Q: Does selling cost me anything?
A: Setting up your store is completely free. When you do make sales, NationalGunTrader takes a small fee off the top, generally 9%+$1 for each sale.

Q: Who can use this site to buy firearms?
A: Only people who are legally able to own firearms, ammunition, knives, and gun accessories may purchase these items. Please be sure to check all local laws and regulations before selling a firearm or other regulated products to any user on the site.

Q: What is the age requirement for online firearm purchases?
A: Always check your state/local laws for details. Typically, a buyer must be 18 years old to purchase a rifle or shotgun, and 21 years old to purchase a handgun. Please remember, the responsibility lies with you and the customer to ensure the legality of all purchases.

Q: Can I sell ammunition online?
A: Yes. There are some restrictions, however. You can only ship it using FedEx or UPS -- not USPS (the postal system). You cannot use expedited shipping -- ammunition cannot travel via air freight. Purchase of gun and ammo must generally be done separately (check your local laws). Age restrictions apply -- buyers must be 18 years old to purchase rifle/shotgun ammo, 21 years old to purchase handgun ammo. Check your local/state regulations, as well as those of your buyer, for any additional details and before finalizing any sales.

Q: How can I find a Federal Firearms License Holder to help the buyer receive their purchase?
A: During the checkout process, (if the buyer is attempting to purchase a firearm) they will be prompted to choose an FFL dealer in their area to complete the transaction. To browse FFL Holders in the area you can click here.

Q: Will I need a local FFL Holder to transfer orders if I'm not selling firearms?
A: Of course not! For most products, including air guns, knives, and gun accessories, you will not need a FFL Holder. However, some products you are selling might still be regulated, please check your local, state, and federal laws before making any sales.

Q: What if a buyer wants to return a purchase?
A: We strongly suggest that you keep all contact between you and the buyer on our platform, that way we can mediate any conflicts. We do expect our sellers to adhere to a 30-day return policy (within reason). All firearms sales are final.
